Navy...my first love! Don't get me wrong, I have a closet full of LBD's, and those black dresses have served me well. However, I feel like navy is black's sexier, unexpected, mysterious cousin. More country club than night club, It has just the right amount of color to warm up the palest complexions, but manages to play well with a wide variety of accent colors. Try it, I bet you will like it....

I think this might be my favorite color combination...there's something about the flat, slate colored grey against the warmth and texture of the natural wood.

Each and every summer as the heat of August is upon me, I can't help but look forward to my favorite time of the year....Autumn. I am fortunate to live in a place where we have four distinct seasons, each with their own charms.

But Autumn is my all time favorite....I love the crispness of the mornings, the clear, bright blue sky with no humidity and the last, vibrant colors the leaves change before falling to the ground for winter.
