This is such a festive time of year...everywhere you look, something glitters, glimmers or down right sparkles! Hope your days are filled with holiday cheer!
I love many, many things...but snow could quite possibly be one of my most favorites. There is just something about the stillness...how it muffles sounds and creates the most magical blanket of shimmery white. I know some of you probably get too much, but here in the south...its never enough!
Dressed in my comfy ballet flats, my warm and cozy cashmere cardigan and coffee in hand I am headed out for the day determined to finish my Christmas shopping.
I'm happy to be back after a trip to California...a little work, a little fun, a little relaxation. It was the perfect trip and the weather was spectacular!
I returned to a rainy Monday and days filled with endless things to catch up on and yet all I can image is sitting on this fantastic chaise with a book and relaxing...
I'm off to pack for a business/pleasure trip to California and I am determined to find a beautiful emerald green dress, shirt, etc. to pack in my suitcase..I'm having a bit of a love affair with this color at the moment...
I absolutely adore this picture...rustic yet beautiful, I can image having this room off of the kitchen or dining room as maybe a multipurpose storage/butler's pantry?
I'm finishing up a few last minute projects before the chaos starts later in the week. Visiting relatives, Thanksgiving dinner x 2 and preparing for a business trip to California.
This picture reminded me to take a little time to reflect on what this season really is.... Being thankful for all the blessings in our lives.
I have a little closet renovation going on right now...the workers are busy making my closet and dressing room much more glamorous! Its making me want to completely redo my wardrobe. There are so many pretty things now, its hard to choose where to splurge!
I simply cannot believe that the holidays are upon us...
I just finished our Thanksgiving menu, and I noticed that several of our neighbors have already begun to decorate for Christmas and while doing a little shopping this weekend, I couldn't help but notice that EVERYTHING had a bit of shine and sparkle...
I am in love with the Stockholm apartment of artist and illustrator Mats Gustafson. His mix of grays, browns and ochers combined with his own collections of Scandinavian Modern furniture makes his part time home pure perfection.
Hope you are having a wonderful Thursday! live well...
