Getting Ready....

I'm getting ready to pull out all of my Christmas decorations, and I always forget how tedious it is....seems it takes the entire day! 

 

I have hot chocolate, Nat King Cole playing in the background, and a fire roaring in the fireplace.

 

Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful! 

 

I know the season has just begun, but thought I would give you a break from the traditonal red and green....hope you enjoy these beautiful, soft pastels.

Its one of those bone-drenching rainy Monday mornings here, and I hope to get some things done around the house today.

Loving Lavender

After the painter finished my daughter's room, at first I was not pleased with the lavender tinted grey that we chose.... however it has grown on me tremendously and now I'm in love with all things lavender.

A little lavender love this morning...loving the grey ceiling, so unexpected and warm...My 11yr. old daughter is begging to re-do her room in purple...I've been saying no for some time now, but if I could pull something age appropriate out of this pallette, I just might say yes! live well...
