Getting Ready....

I'm getting ready to pull out all of my Christmas decorations, and I always forget how tedious it is....seems it takes the entire day! 

 

I have hot chocolate, Nat King Cole playing in the background, and a fire roaring in the fireplace.

 

Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful! 

 

I know the season has just begun, but thought I would give you a break from the traditonal red and green....hope you enjoy these beautiful, soft pastels.

Feeling Festive

 

 

 

Sorry again for such a long absence.  My darling, sweet mother has been in the hospital for the last few days.  I've spent hour after hour in her room, looking at magazines, eating in the cafeteria and dreaming of a warm bath.  The doctors and nurses were extraordinary and I'm so thankful for the care that she received. 

 

Now, after multiple days in sweatshirts, yoga pants and tennis shoes, I am dreaming of a little festive glitter in my wardrobe.
