The Calm Before the Storm

I'm finishing up a few last minute projects before the chaos starts later in the week.  Visiting relatives, Thanksgiving dinner x 2 and preparing for a business trip to California.  

This picture reminded me to take a little time to reflect on what this season really is.... Being thankful for all the blessings in our lives.

Gearing up

I simply cannot believe that the holidays are upon us...

I just finished our Thanksgiving menu, and I noticed that several of our neighbors have already begun to decorate for Christmas and while doing a little shopping this weekend, I couldn't help but notice that EVERYTHING had a bit of shine and sparkle...
