Let the Countdown Begin....
As I was in Nordstrom on Saturday getting my daughter one last birthday gift, I suddenly heard the most glorious sound.....CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!
The deep, warm sound of Frank Sinatra singing Silent Night was dreamy, and in that one moment, I was utterly, hopelessly in the Christmas spirit.

I love many, many things...but snow could quite possibly be one of my most favorites. There is just something about the stillness...how it muffles sounds and creates the most magical blanket of shimmery white. I know some of you probably get too much, but here in the south...its never enough!

Waking up to beautiful, serene, unspoiled white snow this morning, the children scrambling to find the other glove and the waterproof boots so that they can build the perfect snowman..... I loved these images as they remind me of the beauty of winter..... live well
