Lakeside Living

After three weeks of sun and fun at the beach, I have to admit I'm craving a rainy, overcast day at the lake.  These make me think of fall, my favorite time of year!

Looking Up

Its Friday, so things are looking up around here.  Hope you have a fantastic weekend....

This is Heaven's Gate Mountain in Zhangjiajie City, China.   It’s about a 7 mile hike/climb to get to Heaven’s Gate. But if you make the journey, then you end up to what the Chinese say is the closest earth landmark to God.

Makes me realize how beautiful our world is...

Veranda Redo

I have been on the fence about new furniture for our veranda.  Unfortunately we just do not get enough time to sit out there, so its been on the back burner for awhile.  After seeing this picture (although the fabrics are not very practical for outdoors) I think I might move it up on the to do list.

I love sunlight.  Its really makes me happy.  After a beautiful week at our beach house, I've come home to another beautiful week of unseasonably warm, sunny weather.  I wish I wasn't so busy so that I could actually enjoy it rather than staring at it through the windows!

I'm looking forward to a little spring break trip with my family next week...trying to finish up last minute business tasks so that I can finally have a few days of relaxation at the beach.
